udghāṭanārthaṃ tatteṣāmuṣṇopakrama iṣyate
stambhano hi guṇaḥ śīta uṣṇo vilayanaḥ smṛtaḥ
Therefore, a hot therapeutic procedure is desired in order to open them; / for the cold quality is arresting, whereas the hot is recorded as liquefying.
