tasmāduṣṇāmbu pānāya jvaritāya pradīyate
tenāsya doṣāḥ pacyante kāyāgniścābhidīpyate
Therefore, hot water is given to the feverish patient to drink; / by that, his humours are digested and transformed, and the bodily digestive fire is kindled.
