kvathitastvāntarikṣeṇa vāriṇā'rdhāvaśeṣitaḥ
sakṛdvā phāṇitaḥ phenaṃ kaṣāyaḥ phāṇṭa ucyate

Boiled with rainwater and reduced to half, / or skimmed of foam just once, that infusion is called phāṇṭa (hot infusion).
