vahnimitrāṃ kṣitau samyaṅ nikhanyād dvyaṅgulādadhaḥ /
upariṣṭātpuṭaṃ yatra puṭaṃ tadbhūdharāhvayam //

[The earth heating (bhūdharapuṭa):] / Where one buries the crucible thoroughly two finger-breadths under the ground, / and applies heating on top, that heating is named *bhūdhara*.
