jīvanmuktaḥ sa vijñeyastīrṇasaṃsārasāgaraḥ /
devadaityādibhirvandyaḥ sa sevyaḥ sa guruḥ śivaḥ //

he is to be known as liberated while living, one who has crossed the ocean of transmigration. / He is worshipful to gods, demons, and others; he is to be served; he is the guru; he is Śiva.
