bhasmanaḥ śulbajīrṇasya palena brāhmamāyuṣam /
dvipale vaiṣṇavāyuṣyaṃ rudrāyustripalena tu //

By one pala of the calx of that which has digested copper, the lifespan of Brahmā [is gained]; / by two palas, the lifespan of Viṣṇu; but by three palas, the lifespan of Rudra;
