suślakṣṇaṃ peṣayitvā tu toyaṃ dadyāt punaḥ punaḥ
mūṣālepaṃ tataḥ kuryāt tale piṣṭīṃ ca nikṣipet //
Having ground [them] very finely, one should add water repeatedly.
Then one should coat the crucible [with it] and place the amalgam paste at the bottom.
