vāpo niṣekaḥ snapanaṃ drute nirmalatāṃ gate
uṣṇenaiva hi vāñchanti śītalaṃ na ca vāñchati //
Throwing into [the melt], quenching, and washing [are done] when molten and having attained purity.
Indeed, they desire [it] only hot; one does not desire it cold.
