cakorasyākṣi-vairāgyaṃ krauñcasya syān madodayaḥ |
kapota-parabhṛd-dakṣa-cakravākā jahaty asūn || 16 ||

the eyes of the cakora lose their red color; intoxication arises in the krauñca; / pigeons, cuckoos, cocks, and cakravāka geese lose their lives;
