rāgādirogāḥ sahajāḥ samūlā yenā 'śusarve jagato 'pyapāstāḥ |

tamekavaidyaṃ śirasā namāmi vaidyāgamajñāṃśca pitāmahādīn ||

iti ha smāhurātreyādayo maharṣayaḥ ||

By whom all innate diseases such as passion, together with their roots, were swiftly eliminated from the entire world—

to that peerless physician, and to the ancestors and elders who know the scriptural lore of medicine, I bow with my head.
