in the blood, [pitta causes] erysipelas and burning; in the flesh, suppuration of flesh and sloughing; / in the fat, burning nodules, excessive sweating, vomiting, and thirst;
and treatments that destroy erysipelas, vāta-rakta, and poison should be performed in poison-born [diseases].
For when blood corrupted by vāta flows forth after being unctuated and sweated, it does not lead to provocation of vāta.
And for one who has been unctuated again, one should administer a ghee purgative combined with tilvaka or with a potion of decoction of tilvaka;
and when he is purified, one should administer an evacuating enema and an unctuous enema, as in vāta-caused catarrh.
