yadā tu kārtsnyena nopahanti anupaghnanneva vā srotomukhaṃ pidhatte tadā saṃskāravāhyaṃ bhavati |
When, however, it does not damage them entirely, or without damaging them merely closes the opening of the channel, then one who is remediable by purificatory rites is produced.
