tathā devatārakṣo 'nupacayaparirakṣaṇārthaṃ na raktāni vāsāsi dhārayenna yānamadhirohenna madyamāṃsamaśnīyāt |
Likewise, for the purpose of protection from malevolent deities and demons, and for non-depletion, she should not wear red garments, should not mount a vehicle, and should not consume alcohol and meat.
