guru cātarpaṇaṃ sthūle viparītaṃ hitaṃ kṛśe |
yavagodhūmamubhayostadyogyāhitakalpanam ||
Heavy and non-nourishing food is wholesome for the corpulent; the reverse for the emaciated. / Barley and wheat [are suitable] for both, through preparation that is suitable or unsuitable for them.
