ūrdhvaṃ vā śakṛtā sārddhaṃ saṃsthitau koṣṭha eva vā |

samalāhāraviṣṭabdhau haretāmāśu jīvitam ||

or they may move upward together with the feces, or remain right in the alimentary tract; / obstructed by undigested food mixed with waste, they would swiftly take life away.
