apetauṣadhasaṃrambhaṃ nirvṛtaṃ nayanaṃ yadā |
vyādhidoṣartuyogyābhiradbhiḥ prakṣālayettadā ||
When the eye is relieved, with the irritation from the medicine gone,
he should then wash it with water appropriate to the disease, the doṣa, and the season.
