sacailenātha nayanaṃ savyāṅguṣṭhena dakṣiṇam |
ūrdhvavartmani saṅgṛhya śanaiḥ śodhyaṃ samantataḥ ||
Then, holding the right eye at the upper eyelid
with the left thumb wrapped in a cloth, it should be slowly cleansed all around.
