bhrāmaraṃ pauṣpikaṃ kṣaudraṃ mākṣikaṃ ca yathottaram |
varaṃ jīrṇaṃ ca teṣvantye dve eva hyupayojayet ||
iti ikṣu vargaḥ |
The types produced by bhrāmara, pauṣpika, kṣaudra, and mākṣika bees are progressively superior; / and when aged, they are excellent. Among them, one should use only the last two.
Thus ends the sugarcane class.
