hantyāsavaḥkaphaṃ pittaṃ purīṣaṃ ca bhinattyatha | madhu pittamariṣṭas tu vātārtiṃ śamayatyatha ||

As fermented infusion destroys kapha and pitta, and breaks up the stool; / wine of honey [destroys] pitta, whereas fermented decoction pacifies the affliction of vāta.
