vāmayed vamanīyāṃs tu samīkṣyāmāśayānnarān | virecayed virecyāṃs tu tathā pakvāśayāśrayān || ity āha bhagavān ātreyaḥ | iti bhele ekaviṃśo ' dhyāyaḥ || || dvāviṃśo ' dhyāyaḥ || athātaḥ svedādhyāyaṃ vyākhyāsyāma iti ha smāha bhagavān ātreyaḥ |

However, having examined the stomach, one should cause men who are fit for emesis to vomit; / and likewise, one should purge those fit for purgation whose [morbidities] reside in the colon. / Thus said the venerable Ātreya. / Thus ends the twenty-first chapter in Bheḷa. // Chapter Twenty-Two // Now we shall explain the chapter on sudation; thus said the venerable Ātreya:
