pittaśleṣmakaraṃtiktamiṅgudītailamucyate | sakaṣāyaṃ madhūkānāṃ kaphapittānilāpaham ||

The oil of iṅgudī is stated to produce pitta and śleṣman, and to be bitter; / that of madhūka is slightly astringent, and removes kapha, pitta, and vāta.
