niṣpāvaśākaṃ madhuraṃ māṣaśākaṃtathā smṛtam | candrākaśākamamlaṃ tu kaṣāyas tu gavedhukaḥ ||
The vegetable of niṣpāva is sweet, and the vegetable of māṣa is remembered as such; / the vegetable of candrāka is sour, while gavedhuka is astringent.
