grīṣmaḥ pacati cāpy enaṃ pariṇāma ivāparaḥ | bhṛśamauṣṇyāt kaṭurgrīṣmaḥ sarvadhātuviśoṣaṇaḥ ||

and summer cooks this, as if another transformative power. / Because of intense heat, pungent summer dries up all the bodily tissues;
