rasanaṃ ca raso hyāpyaṃ[vyā-] tasmād etairihendriyaiḥ | yathāsvaṃ tulyayogitvād viṣayagrahaṇaṃ smṛtam ||

And the gustatory organ and taste are watery; therefore, by these sense organs here, / apprehension of objects is taught according to their own nature, due to their having homologous qualities.
