biḍālapadamātraṃ tukṣārasyāsya sukhāmbunā | pibed apasmāraharam unmādasya ca nāśanam | arśāṃsi gulmānmehāṃś caplīhānamudarāmayam || || daśamo ' dhyāyaḥ ||

In a dose of just a biḍālapadaka, one should drink this alkali with warm water; / it removes epilepsy and destroys insanity, / hemorrhoids, phantom tumors, urinary diseases, enlarged spleen, and abdominal diseases. // Chapter Ten
