bhiṣagdadyānna śītānitathoṣṇāni vivecayet | pitte śīto nirūhaḥ syāduṣṇas tu kaphavātayoḥ ||
the physician should give, not cold; likewise he should discriminate hot ones: / in pitta the non-unctuous enema should be cold, but in kapha and vāta, hot.
