bhavanti cātra
sādhyāsādhyavibhāgajño jñānapūrvaṃ cikitsakaḥ /
kāle cārabhate karma yattat sādhayati dhruvam //
And on this point there are [verses]:
The physician who knows the distinction between curable and incurable, acts with prior knowledge,
and initiates treatment at the proper time, certainly accomplishes that which he undertakes.
