sarvaścet saṃcarenmātuḥ piturvā maraṇaṃ bhavet /
nirantaraṃ nāvayavaḥ kaścitsūkṣmasya cātmanaḥ //
If it were to migrate entirely, the death of the mother or father would occur; / and of the subtle self, which is indivisible, there is no part.
