yuktiścaiṣā --- ṣaḍdhātusamudayādgarbhajanma, kartṛkaraṇasaṃyogāt kriyā; kṛtasya karmaṇaḥ phalaṃ nākṛtasya, nāṅkṛrotpattirabījāt; karmasadṛśaṃ phalaṃ, nānyasmādbījādanyasyotpattiḥ; iti yuktiḥ //

And this is the reasoned correlation: birth of an embryo from the assemblage of the six elements; action from the conjunction of agent and instruments; fruit from performed action, not from unperformed; no arising of a sprout without a seed; fruit resembling the action, no arising of one thing from another seed—this is reasoned correlation.
