The Compendium of Caraka 1.13.11

1.13.11

snehāśayāḥ sthāvarasaṃjñitāstathā syurjaṅgamā matsyamṛgāḥ sapakṣiṇaḥ/
teṣāṃ dadhikṣīraghṛtāmiṣaṃ vasā sneheṣu majjā ca tathopadiśyate//

these are termed vegetable sources of unctuous substances; likewise the animal ones are fish, wild animals, and birds;
of these, curd, milk, ghee, meat, muscle fat, and marrow are prescribed among unctuous substances.
