kālajastveva puruṣaḥ kālajāstasya cāmayāḥ /
jagat kālavaśaṃ sarvaṃ kālaḥ sarvatra kāraṇam //

Rather, man is born of time, and his diseases are born of time; / the entire world is subject to time; time is the cause everywhere.”
