tat parasyaujasaḥ sthānā tatra caitanyasaṃgrahaḥ /
hṛdayaṃ mahadarthaśca tasmāduktaṃ cikitsakaiḥ //
It is the seat of the supreme ojas, and therein is the seat of consciousness;
therefore it is declared to be the heart, mahat, and artha by physicians.
