puruṣāssyātimātrasya sūcakasyānṛtasya ca /
vākyasyākālayuktasya dhārayedvegamutthitam //

One should restrain the arising urge of harsh speech, excessive [speech],
slanderous [speech], untruthful [speech], and untimely speech;
