iti śrutvā janapadoddhvaṃsane kāraṇāni punarapi bhagavantamātreyamagniveśa uvāca---atha khalu bhagavan! kutomūlameṣāṃ vāyvādīnāṃ vaiguṇyamutpadyate? yenopapannā janapadamuddhvaṃsayantīti//

Having heard these causes of the destruction of communities, Agniveśa again said to the venerable Ātreya: "Now indeed, venerable one, from what root does the vitiation of these [factors] beginning with wind arise, by which, when developed, they destroy a community?"
