tayorakuśalāḥ kevalaṃ cakṣuṣaiva rūpaṃ dṛṣṭvā 'adhyavasyanto vyādhigurulāghave vipratipadyante//

Regarding them, unskilled [physicians], determining solely upon seeing their outward appearance with the eyes alone, become confused concerning the severity or mildness of the disease.
