*etāni hi yena *doṣeṇādhikenaikenānekena vā samanubadhyante, tena tena doṣeṇa garbho 'anubadhyate; tataḥ sā sā doṣaprakṛtirucyate manuṣyāṇāṃ garbhādipravṛttā/

For by whichever dosha, one or more in excess, these [factors] are accompanied, by that very dosha the embryo is accompanied; hence that respective dosha constitution of human beings is said to originate from the embryo stage onward.
