4.2.35

bhūtāni catvāri tu karmajāni yānyātmalīnāni viśanti garbham/
sa bījadharmā hyaparāparāṇi dehāntarāṇyātmani yāti yāti//

The four elements born of karma, however, which are merged in the self, enter the embryo;
having the nature of a seed, it goes again and again to another body within itself.
