rūpasya sattvasya ca santatiryā noktastadādirnahi so 'asti kaścit/
tayoravṛttiḥ kriyate parābhyāṃ dhṛtismṛtibhyāṃ parayā dhiyā ca//
The continuous succession of physical form and mind has no stated beginning, for no such beginning exists;
the cessation of both is effected by supreme resolve, memory, and by supreme intellect.
