Just so, when in the semen of a man the seed-part undergoes vitiation, then he produces a sterile male (vandhya); when, on the other hand, in his semen a fraction of the seed-part undergoes vitiation, then he produces a putrid-offspring producer (pūtipraja); but when in his semen a fraction of the seed-part and a portion of the seed-parts for the body that produce a male undergo vitiation, then he produces an unmanly creature predominantly having the form of a man, named tṛṇaputrika; they call that an abnormality of the male.
