4.6.15_1

tadyathā---ūṣmā pacati, vāyurapakarṣati, kledaḥ śaithilyamāpādayati, sneho mārdavaṃ janayati, kālaḥ paryāptimabhinirvartayati, samayogastveṣāṃ pariṇāmadhātusāmyakaraḥ saṃpadyate//

namely—heat digests, wind draws [it] down, moisture produces looseness, unctuousness produces softness, time brings about completion, and their balanced contact results in producing the equilibrium of the transformed constituents.
