etāvadeva hi bhaiṣajyaprayoge phalamiṣṭaṃ svasthavṛttānuṣṭhāne ca yāvaddhātūnāṃ sāmyaṃ syāt/

For just this is the desired result in the administration of medicine and in the observance of healthy conduct: that there should be equilibrium of the bodily constituents.
