yo 'agniṃ prakṛtivarṇasthaṃ nīlaṃ paśyati niṣprabham/
kṛṣṇaṃ vā yadi vā śuklaṃ niśāṃ vrajati saptamīm//
He who sees a fire that is of natural color as blue and lusterless,
or black, or white, passes to the seventh night.
