doṣāstrayaḥ svaiḥ kupitā nidānaiḥ kurvanti śophaṃ śirasaḥ sughoram/
antargale ghurghurikānvitaṃ ca śālūkamucchvāsanirodhakāri//
The three doṣas, aggravated by their respective causative factors, produce a dreadful swelling of the head, / and inside the throat, accompanied by a gurgling sound, a śālūka that obstructs respiration.
