&jaṅghāsu piṇḍīprapadopariṣṭāt syācchlīpadaṃ māṃsakaphāsradoṣāt/
sirākaphaghnaśca vidhiḥ samagrastatreṣyate sarṣapalepanaṃ ca//

In the shanks, above the calves and forefeet, ślīpada occurs from the disorder of flesh, kapha, and blood; / vein-puncturing and the entire regimen that destroys kapha are desired there, as well as the application of mustard paste.
