vyaktāmlakaṭukaṃ jātaṃ takrāriṣṭaṃ mukhapriyam/
prapibenmātrayā kāleṣvannasya tṛṣitastriṣu//
When it has become distinctly sour and pungent, pleasing to the mouth, this takrāriṣṭa / the thirsty [patient] should drink in proper measure at the three meal-times.
