śaṭīpalāśasiddhāṃ vā pipplyā nāgareṇa vā/
dadyādyavāgūṃ takrāmlāṃ maricairavacūrṇitām//
Or he should give a gruel prepared with śaṭī and palāśa, or with pippalī and dry ginger, / soured with buttermilk, and sprinkled with black pepper.
