Having attained satisfaction from sparrow meat, he who drinks milk afterwards—
for him there would be no flaccidity of the penis, nor loss of semen at night.
(Thus ends the virilising meat.)
Having eaten ṣaṣṭika rice rich in ghee with māṣa soup,
he who drinks milk stays awake the entire night with strong impulse.
(Thus ends the virilising māṣa formulation.)
A man does not sleep through the nights, with his penis constantly erect,
satisfied with chicken meat fried in crocodile semen.
(Thus ends the virilising chicken meat formulation.)
Having extracted the fluid of fish eggs, one should eat it fried in ghee;
likewise one should eat the eggs of swans, peacocks, and chickens.
Therefore, purification alone should be performed first according to strength, for virilising formulations
employed in an unclean body do not succeed, just as dyeing formulations [do not succeed] on dirty cloth.
Fifteen formulations that increase virility and offspring
have been declared in the quarter on the roots of reed and arrow-grass, granting nourishment and strength.
