śiśirasnātasyoṣmā ruddhaḥ koṣṭhaṃ prapadya tarṣayati/
tasmānnoṣṇaklānto bhajeta sahasā jalaṃ &śītam//
Heat held back in one who has bathed in cold water enters the internal organs and makes him thirsty; / therefore, one exhausted by heat should not suddenly resort to cold water.
