pūrvamayāturaḥ san dīnastṛṣṇārdito jalaṃ kāṅkṣan/
na labheta sa cenmaraṇamāśvevāpnupāddīrgharogaṃ vā//
If a person, already suffering from an earlier disease, miserable and tormented by thirst, craving water, / should not obtain it, he would quickly meet death or a prolonged disease.
