sādhayettadghṛtaṃ siddhaṃ śarkarākṣaudrapādikam/
prayogāt pittagulmaghnaṃ sarvapittavikāranut//
iti drākṣādyaṃ ghṛtam/
vṛṣaṃ samūlamāpothya pacedaṣṭaguṇe jale/
śeṣe 'aṣṭabhāge tasyaiva puṣpakalkaṃ pradāpayet//

One should cook that ghee; once prepared, [mixed with] a fourth part of sugar and honey,
through administration it destroys a paittika lump and eliminates all pitta disorders.
Thus [ends] Drākṣādya-ghṛta.
Crushing vṛṣa along with its roots, one should cook it in eight times as much water;
when an eighth part remains, one should add a paste of the flowers of that very [plant].
